Forhad Hossain, Founder and Executive Director of LEEDO, has spent over 30 years transforming the lives of more than 30,000 vulnerable children in Bangladesh. Beginning his journey in 1989 and officially establishing LEEDO in 2000, he pioneered initiatives like Schools Under the Sky, Mobile Schools, Inclusive Schools, and the Peace Home—a permanent sanctuary for homeless and differently-abled children. His courageous advocacy, including securing passports and citizenship rights for street children to represent Bangladesh at global events such as the Street Child Cricket World Cup and Football World Cup, has redefined child rights in the country.
