I’m proud to announce my new Ambassador role for LEEDO’s work in Dhaka and Patron of UK charity Friends of Street Children Bangladesh
There are things bigger and more important than football – and this is one of them. This sits very close to my heart, and I truly believe this project can make a big change.
As a Muslim, a father, and a Bangladeshi, it’s my duty – our duty – to start making a change to this situation that affects hundreds of thousands of children in our country and across the world.
I walked into LEEDO not really knowing what to expect, but the love and happiness I was greeted with was overwhelming. These kids have lived through the biggest heartbreaks and toughest times, yet they welcomed me with warm smiles and hugs.
It was truly another life lesson: with love, care, and attention, everyone can have a fresh start and rediscover a life they deserve to live. This is a testament to the people at LEEDO and all the incredible work they’ve done.
I’m so proud and honoured to be an Ambassador for LEEDO – and together we can all make a change. – Hamza Choudhury
