Local Education and Economic Development Organization (LEEDO) is a not-for-profit, voluntary-based development organization founded in 2000 and fully functioned in 2010. The organization was initiated by a group of educated social and human rights activists and educators aiming to improve the life chances of children forced to live in extreme difficulties on the streets and also to address the needs of the growing number of vulnerable street children in Bangladesh.

LEEDO is registered with NGO Affairs Bureau, Office of the Prime Minister, People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Registration Number: 1466 and also registered with the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Registration Number: 413. LEEDO – is a non-profitable and voluntary based development organization. It was established in 2000. Number of Executive members are 07 (Seven).
