Transition Shelters are temporary safe housing for rescued street children providing shelter with basic needs for six weeks during their transition from street life to family reintegration or long-term care. Our rescue teams rescue children from the vulnerable situation on the street through Trust Building Method. When a child arrives at the shelter, we immediately address his or her basic needs including nutritious food, clothing, a bed, medical treatment, entertainment and essential facilities. We also counsel such children, listening to and acting on their preferences. During the past years, we have regularly supported more than 3,500 children.
