LEEDO (Local Education and Economic Development Organization) officially launched the KRAFT Modell Manual, a comprehensive guideline developed to support the rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration of street-connected and vulnerable children in Bangladesh. The manual reflects the organization’s long-standing experience and commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind.

The KRAFT Modell was designed as a practical framework that can be used by social workers, educators, development practitioners, and child protection professionals. It emphasizes a child-centered, rights-based, and trauma-informed approach to addressing the complex challenges faced by vulnerable children.

The framework complements LEEDO’s 4R strategy—Rescue, Referral, Reintegration, and Rebuild Lives—which has guided the organization for many years. Through this approach, LEEDO seeks to provide children with access to education, healthcare, psychosocial support, vocational training, and opportunities for long-term development.

Representatives from government institutions, development organizations, civil society groups, and child rights advocates attended the launch ceremony. Speakers stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to create a sustainable support system for children living in vulnerable circumstances.

The publication of the KRAFT Modell Manual marks an important milestone for LEEDO. The organization hopes that the model will be adopted more widely so that effective child protection and rehabilitation practices can be implemented in different communities throughout Bangladesh.
